Tolaram Group Resident AuditorThe Group is named after Seth Tolaram, who was a well-regarded physician in Sind in Colonial India. Seth Tolaram’s primary occupation was the welfare of the poor and sickly, and the Group to this day carries his philanthropic ideals. Seth Tolaram’s four sons were involved with various business ventures since 1916 where the youngest son and founder of Tolaram Group, Khanchand Vaswani, learnt his trade. Khanchand Vaswani migrated to Indonesia in 1932 from Sind and he initially opened a small textile shop named Toko Vaswani in 1948 in Malang, East Java, Indonesia and effectively planted the roots of the current Group. The shop was relocated to bigger premises in 1950 and renamed as Toko Tolaram that now included a tailoring department. We invite you to join to fill the following positions.

Resident Auditor



Job Description:
  • Audit/assignments are undertaken in the area of Credit, Operation, Treasury, IT
  • Prepare risk based audit plan/program in accordance with COSO
  • Documents, evaluates and test system, and controls to determine Bank adequacy and effectiveness to ensure:
  • Compliances with policies and procedure
  • Accomplishment of management’s objective
  • Reliability and integrity of information
  • Economic use of resources
  • Safeguarding of assets
  • Prepares working papers of review by Division Head
  • Develop and discuss findings: comes to agreement on recommendations and timelines for corrective actions with responsible officers of operations audited and monitors the implementation status of agreed recommendations
  • Drafts audit reports for entire assignment or portion of assignment
  • Takes initiatives in identifying appropriate audit tools, best practices, and identifies/performs tasks aimed at ensuring that audit/assignments are conducted in accordance with COSO
  • Supervise and coach lower level staff
  • Performs other project and tasks as may be assigned. (Special Audit & Fraud Audit)
Qualifications and Key Competencies:
  • Undergraduate degree from reputable University (Accounting background preferred for Resident Auditor)
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Bank as Bank Auditor/ IT Auditor
  • Familiarity with banking operation and best practice, PBI/OJK/SE rules, risk based audit, COSO, and has Knowledge of specialized IT audit (for IT Auditor)
  • Strong independency & analytical skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to details
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Interest in process improvement and implementing best practices
  • Experience in working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Be a willing, effective, and efficient learner
